Test involves Composition, Maths, Mechanical Reasoning and English!
Composition is simply why u wanna be a helicopter pilot?
Maths involve basic maths and
Mechanical Reasoning (Engineering Diagrams)
English involves meaning of certain words

the first test comprises of the following
1.general maths
2.english lang.
3.general physics.
4.essay writting
In summary, you should go and read up your physics very well most expecially fluid mechnics,thermodynamics,gears and pulley.
you should read and make research on the different between airplane and helicopters.how they fly,advantages of helicopters over airplane.
the test is for one hour.(comprising of 60 objective questions and three essay writtings.)

Hi Guys, I'm new here and i appreciate all your contributions. Can anyone shed more light on the essay questions for the Mech Cadet Engineer test? The general consensus seems to be that the maths, physics and English are the same. But (for those that have taken the mech engineer test) were the essay questions the same "How does it Fly" "recent Developments in Aviation over the past 60 years" and "why you want to be a pilot/engineer"?? The testing season is here again and it wont hurt to be better prepared this time. Thanks!!!!
