Job Responsibilities
o Supervise the electrical and instrument team
o Equipment check, control, maintenance, trouble shooting and replacement of defective parts
o Plan and document critical and non-critical spares parts inventory
o Handle shift operations ensuring minimum breakdowns
o Monitor plant and equipment to ensure optimal operation and reduction of downtime
o Prepare trends and records of operation and maintenance data
o Prepare and compare daily utility reports for operational deviations and needful corrective action
o Ensure all Health and Safety standards are met and that all equipment complies with Company and legal standards
Job Requirements
Education/Qualification:
o B. Eng/B.Tech/HND in Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering or other relevant fields
Experience:
o 6 – 10 years experience in a similar role in Process Industries
Skills and Competencies
o Excellent understanding of process plant instrument equipment
o Expertise in Pet Process plant instrument calibration
o Practical knowledge of DCS function, PLC, soft starter, variable frequency drive ABB, etc
o Knowledge of breakdown/preventive maintenance practices for smooth shift operations
o Proficiency in Microsoft skills for preparing daily reports
o Ability to understand electrical and mechanical drawings/manuals
o Good inter-departmental communications skills for streamlined shift operations
