Responsibilities:


* Assist in developing Health and Safety Policies for the company.
* Implement Health & Safety policies on site and in the office.
* Surveys, compiles, and analyzes data relating to occupational and environmental health issues which are known or suspected of being real or potential detriments to health on various job sites.
* Assist in reviewing project designs to ensure Health & Safety guidelines have been addressed.
* Performs field and safety measurements, safety evaluations, and hazardous waste evaluations on all project design.
* Implement or recommend control measures for exposure to hazardous materials or conditions.
* Assist during safety briefings.
* Conducts safety inspections and audits on client sites.
* Prepares weekly reports to be collated for monthly reports on all client sites.
* Monitor and review accident reporting on all client sites.
* Attend progress meetings to discuss/ resolve any safety issues arising.


Qualifications and Requirements:


* Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a minimum of 3 years work experience as a field engineer.
* Analytical – Displays logical reasoning.
* Problem Solving - - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.
* Job Knowledge- Understand duties and responsibilities has necessary technical skills, keeps job knowledge current, and is in command of critical issues.
