Job Purpose - Coordinate the general maintenance and upkeep of equipment, all installation activities at the terminal including electrical, mechanical and related systems

Duties/Responsibilities -
• Carry out day –to-day preventive maintenance/equipment maintenance operation.
• Carry out daily serviceability checks on all equipment in the facility.
• Ensure operating standards and maintenance policy for equipment are strictly applied and adhered to
• Ensure preventive Maintenance Schedule of depot equipment is STRICTLY adhered to
• Carry out minor repair, oversee & manage all major faults on all equipment
• Diagnose, maintain and repair faults on all aviation equipment and assist in all matters of maintenance, inspections and operations
• Monitor performance and maintenance of all equipment at the aviation depot to achieve high-level serviceability
• Completes documentation of test carried out on all equipment.
• Supervises all third party jobs in the facility.

Skills -

Knowledge of oil & gas products/industry
Technical ability to be able to conduct preventative maintenance of equipment and clean-up exercises, carryout major and minor repairs on equipment, conduct safety tests and ensure all equipment are in good functioning state
General competency – use of hand tools, calibrated measuring instrument, knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, schematic drawings and control documents
Disassembly and assembly competency
Maintenance and trouble-shooting competency
Problem solving & Innovative skills
Analytical ability
HSSEQ Knowledge
Documentation management
IT proficiency
Excellent team spirit, integrity and supervisory ability

Qualification -
A good degree in Engineering from a reputable university

Experience -
Minimum of 4-6years work experience
Previous work experience in petroleum products depot/terminal equipment maintenance operation will be an added advantage
