Job Summary:
The Corporate Communications Manager will provide communication guidance, develop communication strategy and create/execute plans to advance the company’s brand. S/he would be tasked with delivering on measurable communication objectives across business development, advertising, PR, branding, sponsorships and events to support OER’s business objectives
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensure OER’s business Brand and Visual Identity policies are in-line with Group’s standards and compliance
Champion the development of image building/management strategies and programmes, providing needed support to the CEO, executive management, and OER’s workforce
Manage internal and external communication and media relations across the company and projects on all platforms including social media
Make recommendations for the development and implementation of consistent and vision-aligned policies for internal and external communications
Manage key relationships with stakeholder groups including internal clients and external parties such as advertising agencies, media houses and PR consultants
Develop and monitor OER’s CC budget and implement various initiatives to optimize costs, whilst delivering quality service (based on industry benchmarks)
Co-ordinate internal and external communications at all OER locations
Participate and collaborate in strategic planning as it relates to public relations initiatives with business units in managing relationships with key publics; institutional investors, shareholders, employees , community and Government regulatory bodies with regards to media management , financial communications, employee engagement and crises communications activities.
Manage and develop content in support of communications activities and projects, international and local/regional (including articles, brochures, videos and multimedia and social media).
Oversee conference-related logistics (i.e., participatory level, management speaking position, registrations, material preparation, and distribution) for “Top of the Mind Awareness’ and identify other benefits as deemed fit.
Serve as corporate branding subject matter expert and provide initial review of content to ensure adherence to and proper use of brand in company’s corporate materials.
Manage all OER events from concept to completion
Manage the OER website
Represent the views of the investor community to the HIR in the development of corporate strategy
Provide feedback to the HIR regarding the impact of corporate actions, Serve as the key point of contact for the public
Provide Regulation Fair Disclosure training to all company spokespersons
Create presentations, press releases, and other communication materials for earnings releases and industry events. Keep the public up to date and knowledgeable about the company (and implicitly encourage them to buy and hold).

Qualifications & Experience
1st degree in the Humanities, Social Sciences, Administration etc. or other field
operational experience (Corporate/External Affairs, Media and/or Advertising) within a reputable and structured business environment, preferably a multinational corporation within the Oil & Gas industry
Strong exposure to reputation and events management
Excellent written and verbal skills
Relationship building skills in the investment community and the ability to collaborate with the executive team
Must be willing to travel 50% of the time
