Job Title: Rental Tool Co-ordinator

Role Summary/Purpose:
The RT Tool Coordinator is responsible for the rental activity functions to ensure conformance to specifications and relevant standards.
Manage shop loading in the RT workshop and ensure that all Shop Orders, Work packs/ spares are available for Tool reworked in the shop. Managing Tools Usage as well as determining maintenance levels/routings, He/She is to provide clear information to the shop to ensure work is performed in line with the Quality standard.

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Actively participate in EHS, Integrity and Quality programs and initiatives.
  • Strictly adhere to the EHS policies and procedures. Apply safe work practices for self and others at all times.
  • Prepare and update schedules to monitor locations & maintenance requirements on Rental Tools.
  • Coordinate refurbishment of Rental Tools as required.
  • To be the primary contact for Rental Tool requirements relating to Rental Stock, maintenance requirements shop rework loading and Rental Shop Matrix
  • Monitor and check progress of tool refurbishment.
  • Maintaining progress data on Rental Tools rework/availability and advising Rental Tool Manager and Service Manager of status and progress
  • Schedule and priorities Rental Tool Shop work requirements on a daily basis.
  • Identifying and resolving schedule conflicts and identifying the need for assistance from the main workshop where the need arises
  • To identify spares holding to be on hand at all times to meet Rental Tool reworks
  • Co-ordinate the Customer new Tooling manufacturing, rework, rethreading and ensure that Rental Assets are always in Certification.
  • Liaise with both internal on a daily basis to ensure that Global Rental Policy is always maintenance.
  • Receive rental equipment requests, review requirements and prepare equipment for mobilization.
  • Respond to and resolve urgent internal (FSE equipment issues) and external customer requests.
  • Provide detailed load out list and delivery documentation during the equipment shipping process.
  • Support invoicing activities with accurate delivery and receipt documentations.
  • Maintain detailed records of each tool in Rental Tool inventory. Records shall include details of tool usage and refurbishment.
  • Ensure all certification is maintained for Rental Tools.
  • Co-ordinates Loading out of Allocated Tools and Back loaded Tools and shop loading and maintains accurate inventory of Rental Tools.
  • Maintain the Rental Asset Register and Resource Management Tool (RMT) system.
  • Work closely with project management and bid proposal group to ensure that new tooling needs are identified.
  • Liaise with different work groups to ensure job execution.
  • Ensure that Global Rental Policy is always followed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Preferably degree educated within a Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering discipline
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • 5 year plus experience in Subsea maintenance and Planning environment.
  • Relevant technical, procedural and equipment knowledge.
  • Experience in Oil & Gas Industry.
  • Ability to work extra hours and weekends to meet business needs.
