Specialist.Treasury Operations

Job Summary
Capture all payments and receivables on Oracle ERP and TABS and ensure compliance of the company treasury activities with the company policy and in line with local constraints.


Principal Functions


  • Develop Treasury Operations processes and procedures
  • Develop and prepare various treasury reports to aid critical decision making
  • Ensure all lodgments reflected on banks statement are captured on accounting systems (TABs, ERP etc)
  • Verify charges and commissions/interest posted by the banks
  • Ensure all payments effected through the banks are captured on the Accounting system (ERP)
  • Capture all Fund management journals on ERP
  • Ensure posting of all the company’s interest income duly verified by the Treasury Specialist Funds Management before absorption into the Account System (TABs, ERP etc)
  • Complete special projects as required to ensure continuous improvement of all cash management processes and the operation of the Treasury.
  • Carry out assigned tasks as advised by the Manager, Operations and fund management


Educational Requirements


  • First degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
  • Membership of Professional association (CIMA, CFA, ACCA, ICAN, etc).

Senior Engineer, Transmission Planning & Optimisation

Job Summary
Plan, design and optimise access transmission links to support sites rollout and entire Etisalat Nigeria Network.
Principal Functions

  • Responsible for the planning and design of microwave links to support Etisalat site rollout in a region of the country.
  • Responsible for generating transmission link budget for site rollout in a region of the country.
  • Responsible for planning and design of microwave metro SDH link to support site rollout and site upgrade in the Northern region of the country.
  • Responsible for designing transmission links for site connectivity and make sure sites do not have high dependencies in a region of the country.
  • Responsible for designing and planning of microwave lastmile links to support POI and MGW connection in a region of the country.
  • Responsible for designing and planning transmission link to support ABIS expansion and BTS site optimization in a region of the country.
  • Responsible for planning and designing transmission link to support UMTS rollout in a region of the country.
  • Responsible for conducting line of sight (LOS) survey for transmission links in a region of the country
  • Responsible for generating work order for implementation and Operations team.
  • Carry out detail optimisation of the existing access microwave links.
  • Support RF team in optimisation of BTS sites transmission links
  • Responsible for daily monitoring of microwave transmission links with the view of carrying out optimisation as required
  • Generate a daily, weekly and monthly report on the access links with the agreed K.P.I
  • Responsible for development of process and procedures for access transmission links.
  • Keep abreast of global and local best practice as it relates to transmission planning and design.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge and databases of existing access transmission infrastructure in Etisalat


Educational Requirements


  • First degree in Electrical or Telecommunication Engineering or relevant discipline.

  • Three (3) to Five (5) years post NYSC relevant work experience
  • Understanding of mobile technology backhaul at the access, transport and core network layer is required
  • Must be able to use Pathloss software for designing of transmission links
  • Must be able to use Microsoft excel and other software for reporting.

Specialist, Marketing Communications Product Campaigns

Job Summary
Assist in the implementation of approved brand management strategies, work programmes and plans for Etisalat.

Principal Functions


  • Assist in the development of communication strategies/plans aimed at projecting and promoting Etisalat�s products and services offerings to consumers and the public
  • Prepare and send out briefs on all marketing communication activities to the creative agencies
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders (agencies, printers, producers etc) as required by the Manager, Marketing Communications
  • Ensure that all Etisalat campaigns are in line with the Brand and Experience strategy, of high quality and delivered on time by the agencies and other external vendors
  • Ensure the fidelity of the Etisalat brand values, colours, character and identity (more clarity please)
  • Oversee all marketing communication tasks as assigned by the Manager, Marketing Communications
  • Initiate and track the end-to-end- PO & Payment Processes to ensure prompt PO issuance and vendor payment
  • Provide budget breakdown for each communication activity and advise relevant stakeholders accordingly.
  • Assist in regular and periodic evaluation of the creative agencies by the team and other relevant stakeholders and ensure communication (verbal & written) of findings to the agencies
  • Conduct research on leading practice strategies in brand positioning and communicate findings to the Manager, Marcomms Products & Services
  • Assist in communicating brand/image concept to all vendors/third-party contractors and ensure alignment with Etisalat�s brand specifications.
  • Liaise with printers/vendors to ensure quality standards of materials used for all Etisalat billboards and other merchandize items
  • Liaise with relevant unit/function in carrying out all relevant activities.
  • Attend team/divisional/departmental meetings as required.
  • Prepare/compile agreed periodic activity and performance reports/presentations (using MS Word/Powerpoint/Excel) for the attention of the Manager, Marcomms
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager, Marcomms Products & Services


Educational Requirements


  • First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
