Job Description
Data entry of Stoppage, Production data in a computer
Prepare Word documents on the summary of data as required by management
Take care of the computer provided for the job
Should be able to communicate in English
Be able to write e mails
Should not disclose data other than to those required for the Job
Be able to discuss with shop floor personnel in case of discrepancy of data
Primary Job:
Collate data provided by production supervisor, Format and report data to Sr. Management.
Qualifications & Experience
Should have passed the College level preferably in Science and Maths stream
Be aware of Desk top computers, MS Windows, Excel, Word and Power Point
Should have basic knowledge of preparing graphs in Excel
Should have operated and worked on Excel and Word for at least two years

Job Title: Instrument Technician
Location: Agbara, Ogun State
Job Details
To inspect the automation equipments for proper operation and continuous running of plants glass/silicate and steel plants.
Preventive maintenance of all instrumentats as per checklists.
Preventing maintenance of and repair maintenance of weigh bridges of Agbara.
Troubleshooting the PLC I/O faults, PID controller I/O faults in melting control panel and, Auto Batching system faults.
Should have wiring and fault tracing skill of electrical or instrumentation panels.
To perform related duties as assigned
To maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Intercom telephone line repair and maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience
HND/B.Sc/OND or any Technical Qualification in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering

Job Title: Instrumentation Engineer
Location: Agbara, Ogun State
Job Details:
To inspect the automation equipments for proper operation and continuous running of plants glass/silicate and steel processing plants
To Calibration/cross checking of Auto Batching system to ensure the accurate Weight of Glass Raw materials for quality production
Responsible for calibration and repair maintenance of weigh bridges of Agbara
Servicing and preventive maintenance of Gas PRV’s, Gas Shut- off valves, Air Driers control valves and all instrumentation part of glass/silicate and Awail plant steel processing plant
To ensure the Proper operation of Gas Flow meters and recorders
For troubleshooting the PLC I/O faults, PID controller I/O faults in melting control panel and, Auto Batching system faults
Parameter Settings of AC drives and controllers for accurate process values
Troubleshooting the electrical faults of Generators and panels
To perform related duties as assigned
To maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications & Experience
HND /B.Tech/B.Sc in Instrumentation or Electrical Engineering
5 to 6 years of Experience

Job Title: Machine Tool Operator
Location: Agbara, Ogun State
Primary Job:
Operate the Surface Grinder and Saw blade grinding machine to make ready the following tools for production:
Shear blade cutters for slitter
Shear blades for Z Purlin machine
Shear blades for CTL shears
Job Details:
Receive the cutting tools from production and perform the grinding operation of the above tools
Maintain records of the operation performed
Dress the grinding media to enable perform the cutting edge sharpness
Maintain the machines in the form of regular lubrication, maintenance
Perform the Job as per the instruction of Production personnel
Perform the Quality check on the cutting tools prior to release
Maintain spares for the machine so that the machine is kept in operating conditions
Report any problems with the machine and perform the rectification jobs required if any
Be amenable to training to be provided in case this is required on the Job
Qualifications & Experience
Preferably a literate person, who can take instructions in English. Technical degree like any vocational training , diploma would be an added advantage
Possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience on surface grinders and Cold saw blade grinding
Hands on experience is essential

Job Title: Purlin Line Sr. Technician / Foreman
Location: Agbara, Ogun State
Primary Job:
Be able to supervise, manage the Z Purlin production operation
Job Details:
Perform the production of Purlins on the machines
Supervise a team of 15 people so that production targets are met
Be able to set the machine to correct the Quality problems arising
Maintain records of Production, stoppages on the machines and report to Production in charge
Co-ordinate with Slitting section and Material Handling section for timely removal of Finished goods
Communicate the requirement of Slit sizes to slitting section
Perform Weight check of the product
Resolve any disputed and disciplinary issues on shop floor
Control absenteeism of workmen on shop floor
Train the operators on machine setting
Plan and execute the machine maintenance requirements
Should be willing to work on Sundays if the need arises
Qualifications & Experience

Job Title: Shift Quality Control Engineer (Local)
Location: Agbara, Ogun State
Primary Job responsibility:
Work with production engineer to ensure that the Quality norms are followed.
Job Details:
Check the dimensions of Slit coils, tubes and purlins using micrometer and Vernier calipers and meter tapes
Put on hold products which do not meet the specifications
Audit measurement of weight of products for their conformance to standards
Report results to the Quality in-charge for further actions like re work, reject
Ensure that the correct tags are put on the products being manufactured
Plan for the necessary tools and devices so that the above job can be performed satisfactorily
Understand the tags put on the products like HR coils & CR coils
Qualifications & Experience
A Diploma / Engineer with a science back ground who has worked in a metal forming industry like Tubes, Purlin, Cable tray for a minimum period of 2 years
Must be able to understand the measuring instruments for errors, calibration, least count
Hands on experience is essential
Must be able to read quality standards
