Zmatti Engineering presents Advanced Flowline Engineering Analysis and Design training for practicing engineers, graduates with majors in Mechanical,Civil,Structural,Petroleum and Chemical Engineering.
- Tutors are well endowed experienced oil/gas pipeline design engineers with 10 to 15 yrs experience as a discipline pipeline design engineers.Tutors have accumulated experience working in the design offices of Doris Engineering company Paris ,Shell Nigeria, and Saipem Paris.
- Participants will be equipped with a thorough and indepth technical know how to carry out pipeline design using Finite Element Analysis software & Pipe stress Analysis softwares Abaqus and Autopipe.
- Participants will be exposed to the nitti-gritti of subsea engineering overview, pipeline installation methodology, umbilicals, Manifold,Christmas trees,FLET,PLEM etc
- Flowline Design using Abaqus shall include Global analysis : Thermal expansion,Lateral buckling ,Pipewalking,On-bottom stability,Free span and On-bottom roughness Analysis .
- Spools/jumper design using Autopipe shall include: Static stress analysis,Local buckling checks using DNV-OS-F101 for the pipe bends and straights considering Limit state approach,Fatigue Analysis (Thermal and VIV)
- Post-processing of results using Programming applications such as Python and Matlab will be carried out with results automatically exported to excel.
- All the training shall be carried out using past projects .
- Training will be on weekends only because tutors works from Monday to friday.See bulletin for course module structure.
- Participants will observe lunch break .
- At the end of the training, Participants would have acquired the requisite experience and be able to design a flowline independently with confidence.Hence,he/she will package himself as a 3-5yrs experienced engineer.
- Our trainees will be assisted in packaging their resume to attract employers in oil/gas.Whenever there is an opening in our company,we shall recommend our trainees to HR for employment.
