My short experience: I opened a thread alerting people that the visa lottery results was out last year and I was fortunate to win, myself and my girlfriend, if you see the way one guy challenged me as if I stole his opportunity,he called me a liar. This guy insulted me and said all sorts,that I had to even scan my result to show him here,not that i was even asking for his money oh. but its just that thing that many people have here (bad-belle). They later cancelled the lottery last year if u could remember,their excuse was that everyone that applied the first 3 days won,bcos their computer couldn't randomnly select people. when they did the whole pool of applications again,how am I suppose to have faith again in that multitude. End result is that I didn't get it again,but do u know what was the guy's remark at the end when he got to know that it was cancelled? He said "thank God they cancelled it". That's how many people are in here.many at times, one would want to help with materials, its just difficult to becos most people either don't appreciate you or the effort.
