Our client, a fast food outlet urgently requires the services of four (4) Restaurant managers to fill the available vacancies in their organization.

JOB TITLE Restaurant Manager
LOCATION Port Harcourt & Abuja
REPORTS TO Head of Operations
RESPONSIBLE FOR All Restaurant and back of house staff
WORK RELATIONSHIPS Head Cook, Supply chain Department, Finance & Accounts, Marketing Department, Human resource Department

To please customer by providing a pleasant dining experience
• Achieve restaurant operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, implementing production, productivity, quality and customer-service standards, resolving audits, identifying trends, determining system improvements; implementing change.
• Meet restaurant financial objectives by forecasting requirements, preparing annual budgets, scheduling expenditure, analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions.
• Plan menus by consulting with chefs, estimates food costs and profits, adjusts menu.
• To ensure that profit margins are maintained, agreed costs are not exceeded through effective control systems, including issuing against dockets, sales analysis, menu costings and cash checks.
• To ensure that restaurants and conveniences are clean and well maintained, that table arrangements, including decor are impeccable.
• To ensure that lobby hosts and Cashiers are always correctly and smartly dressed, that they offer professional and courteous service to their customers.
• Control costs by reviewing portion control and quantities of preparation, minimizing wastes; ensuring high quality of preparation
• Accomplishing the restaurant human resources objective by participating in the recruitment and selection, orientation, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees, communicating job expectation, planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions, planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
• Avoid legal challenges by conforming to the regulations of relevant authorities
EDUCATION: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or any relevant field
TRAINING REQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of recruitment techniques and processes
