Our client in the telecom industry is in need of a Solar Power Solution Manager

Basic Job description:

  • 1. Deeply understand and get insight into South Africa Solar market;
    2. Solar Business Development (Include Utility, C&I and Residential solution).
    3. Develop market plan for Huawei Solar Power Business (Include Utility, C&I and Residential solution).
    4. Further relationships with the mid- and high-level customers. Independently gain insights into customers, develop the solution, bidding, and win the project.
    5. Execute the brand marketing activities following established branding strategies. Presentation and open speech capability on marketing events.
    6. Achieve the sales target via active marketing, solution promotion, customer engagement and so on.
    Prioritize customer requirements for R&D and take responsibility for product’s competitiveness.

Qualifications / Experience:
HND/BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Electronic Engineering
Experience : Minimum 5 Years post NYSC

Desired qualities to candidates should be expected to display:

  • 1. Bachelor degree or higher in electrical engineering or equivalent.
    2. Deep Knowledge in Solar Power solution. Deep understanding in Solar power solution market of South Africa. Having good connections with the solar power industry, and sensitive to the trend, activities and opportunities in this industry.
    3. Minimum 5 years working experience in Solar power industry, thereof at least 3 years in industrial leading company (such as: SMA, Schneider, Victron, Solar Edge etc.) or other leading solar association (such as SAPVIA etc.).
    4. Customer relationship establishment and maintenance capabilities
    5. Brand promotion planning capability
    6. Have good verbal and written communication skills.
    7. Be a good team worker, keep hardworking.
    8. Have a positive altitude to the job, be able to withstand the high pressure from the job sometimes.
    9. Have experience that working as consultant for big solar project or solar program will be preferred.
