A leading firm in the agricultural industry is hiring a Receptionist to join their growing team.
Role: Receptionist
Responsibilities:
- Visitor coordination, both internally and externally
- Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail. Maintains and routes publications.
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
- Communication (call) management in areas applicable
- Managing office supplies such as stationery, equipment, furniture and office services as required (such as cleaners and maintenance)
- Taking and ensuring messages are passed to the appropriate staff member on a timely basis
- Assisting the HR team with recruitment, on-boarding and termination processes
- Prepares outgoing mail; sorts and distributes incoming mail.
- Composes, types and edits correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
Job qualifications and requirements:
- Clerical, administrative or receptionist experience for at least one year.
- OND/Bsc in Administration or any relevant field
- Good organisational skills
- Attention to detail
- Exceptional multi-tasking
- Excellent communication skills
- Courteous, presentable and polite
- Strong customer service skills
- Must have a polite telephone manner and is well-presented at all times.
