The Channel Relationship Manager position is a critical component of the TagPay Merchant Services team. Reporting to Channel Sales Team Leader, the Channel Relationship Manager will support all Business Development aspects of Merchant Service's Partnerships, with a primary focus on Sales revenue and lead generation.

The role will balance Channel Partner business and Marketing Strategy, day-to-day Channel Partner management, and Channel Partner acquisition with the focus of growing the Sales base.

Typical Channel Partners candidates are Shopping Carts, Payment Gateways, various e-Commerce platforms (general or specific segments / devices such as Mobile, Apparel, Game, e-book, Market places, Export etc.).
Channel Partner Business and Marketing Strategy consist of:
· Support to create to build strategic win-win Partnerships across multiple Channels and products
· Lead on providing strategic insight and analytical support upon request
Day-to-day Channel Partner management consists of:
· Create business leads and develop business opportunities with Channel Partner candidates.
· Ongoing contact point with Partners for major issues about Partner's merchant inquires, contract, joint marketing, product, integration, and/or operation
· Develop and manage promotion program for major Partners (jointly funded campaign etc)
· Improve web page content at Partners' sites and Merchant on-boarding flow to maximize the merchant acquisition, and
· Channel Partner acquisition is to plan and execute various initiatives for Channel Partner acquisition. For example, network building within e-Commerce industries (Shopping Carts, Payment Gateway, Mobile apps, Influencers), gathering / assessing e-Commerce industrial information/articles to identify segments to be targeted.

In this primary role, the Channel Relationship Manager needs to be an expert about TagPay, alternative payment products, and e-commerce industry. Also, the Channel Relationship Manager requires an understanding of a variety of services that Merchants would utilize together with TagPay (i.e. shopping carts, payment gateway services).
The position works in tandem with other teams in Merchant Services and other teams, such as Integration Support team and Enterprise Account Management teams.
· Identify, analyze and develop new business opportunities for Merchant Acquisition via Partners.
· Plot acquisition scenario for targeted Channel Partners, conduct Partner meetings, negotiate commercial terms / contract documents, and close deals in timely manner.
· Responsible to meet and exceed financial and other targets set for individual and the team.
· Develop network to reach targeted Channel Partners and Merchants, maintain strong client relationships with executive level decision makers with Channel Partners and key industry Partners.
· Act as primary, Business Development liaison with internal key contacts (Sales, Marketing, Integration, Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance etc.) for Merchant Acquisition and problem resolutions.
· Improve business by generating new and practical ways of doing things in order to solve problems and gain advantage in competition.

WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:
· 3 years' of experience in a role of Corporate Sales or Solution provision works is required.
· Experienced in Channel Sales in IT, Financial or Payment Service industry is a plus.
· Channel / Partner Marketing or Channel Business Development experience.
· Experienced in Marketing role to Business Customers, Consultative selling-style, and / or contract negotiation is preferred.
· Proven track record in Business Development and / or Corporate Sales is preferred.
· Business with foreign customers, working experience at overseas or working experience with teams / companies in abroad is preferred.
Experience using Microsoft Office products, including: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
