We have a full-time role based in our office in Yaba for a HR Manager.


Job purpose
The desired candidate will be responsible for steering the Human Resource Strategy across its operational base in Nigeria.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides technical advice in human capacity building initiatives, including training needs identification and budgeting for training programmes delivery and reporting
• Provides advice on all aspects of the Labour Law regulations and practices, to ensure that all legal requirements and best practices are maintained
• Leads in the development, analysis and review of policies relating to Human Resource Management and Development;
• Advises and provides technical and administrative support in the planning, recruitment, placement, development and management of the human resources.
• Co-ordinates the development and maintenance of a comprehensive Human Resources (HR);
• Prepares annual and other reports on Human Resource Management
• Manages the performance of staff;
• Leads in the monitoring and evaluation of HR;
• Leads in the preparation of budget for the HR;
• Leads in the development of in-service training programmes;
• Co-ordinates fellowship awards for the effective training and capacity development of the staff;
• Leads in the development of incentives/welfare packages for the staff;
• Leads in the development of guidelines and protocols on HR for the Service
Qualification and Requirements
• Must have a post-graduate degree in Administration in (Human Resource Management) and other relevant HR certifications with a minimum of five (5) years' relevant work experience,
• Must have considerable strategic, interpersonal and analytical skills, with a deep understanding and appreciation of the strategic and operational challenges in the Nigerian business environment
• Must be performance-driven and keen to achieve results.
