The ideal candidate will function as an independent and objective body that reviews and evaluates compliance issues within the organization. He/she will coordinate planning and implementation of the company’s compliance program and responsible for designing of policies and procedures for implementation.

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure compliance to the company’s training plan
  • Investigate complaints and coordinates action plans with other department
  • Develop policies and programs that encourages staff to report suspected fraud and impropriety without fear of retaliation
  • Maintain a log of communications received relevant to compliance
  • Develop and maintain standards of conduct as well as other related policies, procedures and rules
  • Develop audit controls and measurement to ensure correct practises are established
  • Report regularly to the appropriate committee on the status of compliance program


Requirements:


  • Relevant university degree/equivalent
  • Professional qualification will be an added advantage
  • Strong auditing or compliance background (3-5 years)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Access, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Highly motivated, results-oriented individual who is able to work independently under minimal supervision with an attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical, research and problem solving, skills with the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
  • Ability to manage numerous tasks and sensitive information in a professional manner in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to summarize and present findings in a clear and concise manner
