The Partner/Channel Manager works with Visual ICT channel partners to drive sales and revenue across all product lines. Partner/Channel Managers are essential to acquiring new partner relationships and maintaining and developing existing partner relationships.

In this role the candidate will provide specific Visual ICT and partner program insights to ensure partner success. Business partners play a pivotal role within the Visual ICT ecosystem bringing unique skills; market experience and market reach to support the selling, delivering or influencing of Visual ICT Customer Experience Solutions.

The Visual ICT partner ecosystem is a blend of small, medium and large organisations each with unique propositions in consulting, system integration, complementary solutions or business transformation.
Supporting business partners to ensure they have all the appropriate knowledge and information to represent and deliver Visual ICT solutions to our customers is paramount to our joint success and continued growth.

The Partner/Channel Manager is to guide channel partners in relation to Visual ICT offerings and help drive partner sales. The candidate is responsible for identifying and acquiring potential business partners into the channel partner program.
The candidate will ensure that existing partners are retained and are successful in the sale of Visual ICT products and services. The objective of the Partner/Channel Manager role is to help business partners progress and close sales opportunities while bridging the gap between Visual ICT and partner organizations.

The Partner/Channel Manager is expected to develop and cultivate strong relationships with the partner hierarchy, customers and peers. This role requires deep industry knowledge, channel experience and selling capabilities.

Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):
· Coach and mentor existing partner teams
· Recruit new partners to extend reach of Business and Enterprise Editions sales
· Assess partner effectiveness and provide coaching, training and mentoring to maximize effectiveness
· Produce forecasts based on partner information and translate to Visual ICT sales process stages
· Maintain insight into partner deals and forecast accordingly within Visual ICT opportunity management
· Consistently achieve quarterly and annual partner manager objectives
· Proven track record of analyzing and developing business and marketing plans both internally and externally with partners
· Be proactive in all aspects of partner acquisition and development
· Maintain consistent and regular communication with partner(s) accounts
· Demonstrate success in negotiation, conflict management and diplomacy
· Closely monitor partner performance and partner pipelines
· Build effective relationships with internal and external organizations
· Create an environment of teamwork and continuous improvement
· Demonstrate a commitment to excellence (i.e. best practices)
· Collaborate with partners to align goals, strategies and KPIs Requirements

Qualifications/Skills Desired and Preferred:
· Deep knowledge of the Indirect channel market, players, dynamics, and trends
· 3+ years previous experience in one or more of the following Business development areas:
· Sales experience in a complex selling environment
· Direct sales or channel sales
· Developing highly productive reseller and referral partner relationships
· Proven capability at managing partner and customer relations
· Experience with coaching, directing, and training partner organizations
· Effective oral communication, presentation, and training skills
· Well-developed time management capability
· Multi-task and manage multiple streams of work simultaneously
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Effectively persuade internal and external stakeholders to act
· Proven record of meeting/exceeding established objectives through partner attainment
· Communicate with all levels within partner and customer organizations
· Effectively communicate and present company strategies and initiatives
· Enterprise software or contact centre industry experience a plus
