The Bid Administrator is responsible for coordination and total packaging of bids and tenders while adhering and ensuring compliance with corporate communications standards, bid instructions and bid requirements. In all it is expected that this will ultimately translate to strictly meeting and even exceeding bids/tenders submission timelines and ensure proper documentations and archiving.
Key roles and responsibilities:
? Responsible for collations, compilations, updating as changes occur and central repository documentations and archiving of all supporting documentations, certificates, statements, bid security, tax clearances, DPR permits e.t.c needed and/or regularly needed for bid/tender/pre-qualification/expression of interest preparation all within stipulated standards and timelines.
? Responsible for coordination and supervision of all administrative functions required during bid/tender/expression of interest preparation.
? Responsible for programme management of contributors/stakeholders input to a bid
? Supervises and carry out bid collations, coordination and packaging- proactive planning/preparation of bid packaging materials, printing, binding, dispatch/courier e.t.c
? Develop, standardize and maintain corporate branding of our bids/tenders in Liasion with Head Corporate services and Business Development Manager IS. This covers corporate logo usage (either print or electronic), standard formatting for all or different parts of the bid e.t.c technical, commercials, appendices, diagrams/schematics, Binding/packaging standards for different types of bids, printing standards for different types of bids.
Qualification:
? A good HND in engineering, computer science or other related discipline/technical background with a minimum of 2-3 years post-graduate experience.
? The ideal candidate MUST have a proven track record of having performed in similar capacity or related position. Must be proficient in office suite productivity applications like word and excel as minimum. Must have strong familiarity with document management and handling
? An In-depth knowledge of ICT business environment and programme management is essential.
? Deep experience in proposal development and preparation is also desirable.
? A relevant post graduate/professional qualification e.g. ITIL, CCNA, CCNP will be an added advantage.
