 APPLICATION FOR THE RECRUITMENT INTO THE NIGERIAN AIR FORCEAPPLICATIONS ARE INVITED FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES OF NIGERIAN ORIGIN FOR RECRUITMENT INTO THE NIGERIAN AIR FORCE

 PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
Nationality:Applicant must be of Nigerian origin.
Age:Applicants must be between the ages of 17 and 24 years for non-trades men/women, 17 and 22 years for trades men/women at the time of recruitement and should be single.
Height:Minimum height is 1.65 meters or 5 feet 6 inches.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:Applicant must possess a minimum of 3 Credit Passes at Ordinary level in GCE, SSCE and NECO. OND or relevant craft certificate, Grade II Certificate in the following subjects:
English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography, History, Literature, Economics, Commerce, Technical Drawing, Food and Nutrition, Home Economics, Theory, Practicals.
However trades man/trade woman who possesses relevant trade qualification from Government Approved Institutions, with at least 3yrs experience will be considered. Applicants are advised to check the list of trades and their requirements.
Medical Fitness: All candidates must be medically fit and meet the Air Force Medical and Employment standards.
Applicants with HND or Degree/Post-Graduate Certificate and their equivalents will not be considered for recruitment as airmen/airwomen into the Air Force.
Applicant's referees must be persons of Credible Social Status in the Community i.e Employers, Principals of Schools, Senior Police Officers, Magistrates, Ministers of Religion, Chairmen/Secretaries of Local Government Councils, or Military Officers not below the rank of Flight Lieutenant/Captain/Naval Lieutenant.
All completed application forms must be accompanied by the following documents:
 a) Two recent passport size photographs to be stamped and countersigned by the LG Chairman or Secretary or a Military Officer not below the rank of Wing Commander, or Equivalents
 b) Photocopies of:
      (1) Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
      (2) Educational and Trade Certificates
 c) A letter of character attestation from one of the referees listed under Paragraph 6.
All Candidates will be required to submit for scrutiny, the original copies of the documents listed under paragraph 7(b) at the Recruitment center and during the final selection interview.
Any Candidate suspected to have impersonated or submitted false document(s) shall be disqualified from the selection exercise. Also any false declaration detected later may lead to withdrawal from training. Such candidates may be handed over to the police for prosecution.
The Nigerian Air Force will not entertain any enquiries in respect of candidates whose applications have been rejected.
The application fee is N 1,000.00 only.
 TRADES
Computer Operators/Technicians: Diploma/Certificate in Computer Programming and/or Computer Engineering.
Medical Records: Diploma/Certificate in Medical Records.
Nursing/Para-Medical Services RN-RM, Diploma/Certificate in ECG/EEG, Dental Surgical(DSA), Laboratory, Medical Records, Physiotherapy and Radiography.
Statistics: OND Maths/Starts.
X-Ray Technicians: OND/Certificate in X-ray Technology.
Music: Diploma/Certificate in Music from Government approved institutions, in addition, playing experience in any recognised Band will be an advantage.
Dental Technician: Diploma/Certificate in Dental Technology.
Assistant Chaplain: Diploma in Theology.
Assistant Imam: Diploma in Arabic/Islamic Studies.
Driver/Mechanic: Trade Test and current driver's licence.
SUBMISSION OF FORM
On completion of the application form, applicants are advised to click SUBMIT on the portal and there after make the payment using PIN number. Applicants are advised to print out a copy of the receipt, acknowledgement and attestation cards.
